Regarding the program

You don’t need a title or a team to be a leader. Leadership starts with the self.
If you’re looking to build your self-leadership skills—such as self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and more—or hoping to find greater meaning and engagement at work, developing leadership habits can make a lasting difference.

We have about 40 diverse topics and we keep adding and refreshing content. You can see the latest topics here. Please note that this is indicative and may evolve based on participant context and group composition. The actual topics and timelines are subject to change. We will also extend the content plan as we go

The class starts with Beingfulness Meditation. This is followed by introducing a leadership concept that is explained through ancient or contemporary stories, templates and so on. Participants are often asked to assess themselves on various aspects of leadership and track progress. We regularly host industry stalwarts as guest speakers who talk about the leadership habits that have helped them succeed.
-
We understand that schedules can get busy. While live participation is encouraged for the best experience, we also provide class summaries and key takeaways via WhatsApp, so you don’t fall behind.

Leadership Habits is a practice-based learning experience designed to help you build leadership qualities through regular reflection and guided sessions. While it does not offer formal certification, many participants find the value lies in the consistent personal growth, not in a credential. If you are looking for recognition, do reach out — we are exploring options based on participant interest.
-
This is a group-based program. While there are moments for self-reflection and occasional Q&A, it is not designed as a personalized coaching engagement.
-
Leadership Habits is designed to support personal and professional growth through leadership skills like self-awareness, empathy, and resilience. However, it is not a mental health or therapeutic program. For emotional or psychological challenges, we recommend seeking guidance from a licensed mental health professional.

One of the questions Prof. Ram is most often asked by former students is: “How can we sustain these practices and truly internalize them to improve our work?” Our belief is clear—occasional training doesn’t stick. To become a better leader, leadership needs to be woven into who you are. And the only way to do that is through consistent, regular practice.
-
Yes, you can! Each topic in the program is designed to stand on its own, so you can begin without needing to catch up.
We onboard new participants every Monday, which also marks the start of a new topic. When earlier concepts are referenced, we provide a brief recap in the session to ensure everyone’s on the same page.
We also revisit foundational ideas regularly, so nothing is ever truly missed.
